Big Bight Resort & Villas is located on the North Shore of the tropical island or Roatan and comprises 78 acres of rolling hills with tropical vegetation overlooking the Caribbean Sea and its barrier reefs, less than 15 minutes from Roatan's new international airport.
This exclusive community consists of 63 residential sites for private villas ranging from a quarter acre to two and a half acres lots, a clubhouse complex, tennis court, pool and marina. The resort is paved with ample water supply and all electricity, telephone and cable services are located underground according to U.S. standards.
Big Bight Resort & villas was developed by Roatan Development and Management Company, a subsidiary of one of Honduras' leading business groups with solid investments in a wide range of sectors in the economy. The resort was completed in February 1996.
Big Bight Resort & Villas will also operate as a hotel for those owners who wish to participate in our rental pool program. Finally the villas' residents will benefit from our status as a "Tourism Free Zone" whereby no import duties are applied to developments within the resort.
